第八届国际稀土开发与应用研讨会

      稀土具有独特的磁、光、电及催化等性能，广泛应用于国民经济的众多领域，是发展高新科技和建设国防军工不可或缺的重要战略资源。

    国际稀土开发与应用研讨会是在中国、美国、欧洲轮流召开的国际性稀土会议。迄今为止，中国稀土学会已于1985年9月（北京）、1991年5月（北京）、1995年8月（包头）、2001年6月(北京)、2007年8月（包头）、2010年8月（北京）和2013年8月（赣州）成功举办了七届国际会议。

    为了进一步促进稀土行业科学与技术发展，中国稀土学会定于2016年8月2～6日在甘肃省兰州市召开“第八届国际稀土开发与应用研讨会（ICRE^’2016）”。会议邀请国内外著名专家作大会报告和专题学术报告。届时还将召开第三届中国稀土峰会并举办展览。

      Rare earth elements are the collection of seventeen chemical elements in the periodic table, namely scandium, yttrium and the lanthanide series. They are incorporated into many modern technological devices, including superconductors, miniaturized magnets, electronic polishers, refining catalysts and hybrid car components, etc.

      International Conference on Rare Earth Development and Application (ICRE) is a series international conference organized by China since 1985, the Chinese Society of Rare Earths (CSRE) has successfully organized seven international conferences. More than 300 scholars, experts and entrepreneurs participated in the latest conference (ICRE’2013) in Jiangxi, China.

      In order to promote rare earth science and technology, CSRE is very glad and honored to hold the 8th International Conference on Rare Earth Development and Application (ICRE’2016) in Lanzhou in August 2～6, 2016.

        As a main producer and supplier of rare earth raw materials and application products, China is always interested in the development of rare earth industry around the world. ICRE’2016 will be a great gathering of global rare earth scientists, engineers and directors, and offer an opportunity to exchange information on the development and application of rare earth.
