ERMR2016

 On behalf of organizing committee, I am pleased to announce that the 15th International Conference on Electrorheological Fluids and Magnetorheological Suspensions (ERMR2016) will be held in Incheon, Korea from 4 July (Mon.) to 8 July (Fri.) 2016. 

The ERMR2016 covers science and technologies relevant to electro-responsive ER and magneto-responsive MR materials. Its overall scope more broadly spans from basic science and materials to engineering applications. The technical presentations of the conference are composed by a single oral session and multiple poster sessions where all attendees can exchange ideas in an informal atmosphere. Researchers, practitioners and students are welcome to present and discuss their latest works. Papers presented at the conference are encouraged to be submitted in the special issues of either Smart Materials and Structures or Journal of Intelligent Material Systems and Structures, with their full consideration of a scope and quality for publication. 

Incheon is located at the mouth of the Han River adjacent to the Yellow Sea. Located just 28km from Korea's capital Seoul, Incheon shares roughly the same latitude as San Francisco, Washington, and Madrid. Under the motto 'Turning walls into doors,' Incheon is facing new challenges and creating new visions to become the advanced base of peaceful exchange and collaboration between South and North Korea and, ultimately, the nation's economic capital.
