(4th Symposium on Innovative Polymers for Controlled Delivery, SIPCD

The 4th Symposium on Innovative Polymers for Controlled Delivery (SIPCD 2016) will be held in the Worldhotel Grand Dushulake, Suzhou, China in September 23-26, 2016.

SIPCD held biennially since 2010 has been established as a high-level conference in the fields of biomaterials, controlled drug delivery, protein and cell delivery, gene delivery, polymer-based diagnostics, and tissue engineering. In SIPCD 2016, we will welcome about 550 participants from all over the world, including 32 invited lectures by top scientists and about 300 poster presentations by prominent young researchers and PhD students. The symposium is organized in one single session, thus offering you the possibility to be present at all invited lectures and to participate in lively discussions about the most recent developments as well as challenges in innovative delivery.

Highlights of SIPCD 2016
4 Plenary and 27 Keynote lectures by top scientists including editors and associate editors of over 10 prestigious journals (e.g. Science, Nano Today, Biomaterials, Journal of Controlled Release, Advanced Drug Delivery Reviews, ACS Nano, Biomacromolecules, Acta Biomaterialia, Bioconjugate Chemistry, ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, Polymer Chemistry, Materials Horizons, etc.).
An author tutorial on “How to Write a Great Paper” by a senior Elsevier publisher.
12 Rising Star Presentations. 12 Most prominent young staff (less than 40 years old) will be selected by the committee, based on submitted poster abstract and curriculum vitae, for 5 mins oral presentation. The rising stars are also invited to submit a paper to be published in Biomacromolecules (ACS, IF 5.75).
8 Best Poster Awards (each with 300 US$) sponsored and presented by Biomacromolecules (ACS, IF 5.75). The awardees are also invited to submit a paper to be published in Biomacromolecules.
Publication of a special issue in the Journal of Controlled Release (Elsevier, IF 7.705). The SIPCD special issues receive particular attention (with high citation) from the readers due to its exclusive collection of works from top research groups.
Online publication of all accepted poster abstracts (with a separate DOI number) in the Journal of Controlled Release
Vivid social program (including welcome reception, poster session with wine, banquet, city and garden tour, etc.) which offers a truly relaxing atmosphere for net-working.
